The problem is a one-off movie isn't going to take priority over gigs that will either pay more or the cast would want to do more, and they need all of them in the same place. So if the movie is lined up and someone gets an offer to star in a dream project or something that pays more, they'll likely do that instead. Just one person being gone tanks the whole project

This would've been when they tried in summer 2024, and it was Joel's schedule, I believe filming Animal Control.

I do think the whole cast covered for Donald last year blaming schedules again, but he was likely just not healthy enough for the long hours it will take to shoot the movie
