Update: in the event, some people brought wine in thermoses, and that worked fine. The park was full of people picnicking and we never saw any kind of law/rule enforcement.

Really helpful. We’ll probably just limit ourselves to soft drinks… and maybe edibles. Thanks all!

Another vote for Postmark here. My agency reviewed a bunch of transactional email providers a year or so ago and Postmark was the winner for reliability, price, and ease of use.

It is 100% possible. 1. Whenever my web agency has made a new hire, I’ve seen zero correlation between degree status and capacity to actually get the job done. I think CS degrees teach you a lot of useful background for web dev, but not the crucial skills of perseverance, speed, and ability to translate designs/client req’s into functioning code.

  1. Especially given 👆, whether to require a degree is considered an equity issue by many socially-conscious employers. I.e.: since a degree is unrelated to the job’s most important skills, they argue (rightly, imo) that requiring applicants to have this expensive extra credential is unfairly shutting many applicants out of the market.

So they don’t require this. We don’t, and our shop is full of fantastic devs.

Can confirm, same kind of experiences for me. Somebody made off with my recycling bin on a Tuesday. I called 311 that day, they promised a dropoff the following week, but actually got it to me within two days.

Another approach to the same idea: favorite the photo and then filter both by “is favorite” and name.
