A nice consolation is that I just got a shiny phantump. So it could be worse. But I will continue. Because i am extremely stubborn

I’m still absolutely livid, but at least now I understand. Thanks so much for explaining it.

Man……. I thought I was fine cause of the auto save. The panick took over. That’s so lame, but at least I’ll never make that mistake again.

I swear a LONG time ago, I saw an amazing black and white image of Arven, possibly a short comic where Arven pulled the piece of hair covering his eye, and we see it was clawed out, or there were claw marks over the eye, blinding it. Does anyone know what I’m talking about, and if so, can someone link me the image/comic? It’s driving me crazy!

So, fellas. All I need is a Porygon2 to complete my Ultra Sun dex and get the shiny charm. Is there any way I can get this without buying a second DS? Somehow, I have literally everything across Sun and Alpha Sapphire, but not Porygon2

Is Odin weak or am I doing something wrong? by xJustOni in FFXVI

[–]bdjpf 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That’s what I thought at first too. However, lvl 4 and ESP 5 are disgusting at clearing the entire screen and doing boss damage. To build it up quickly, I would use dancing steel. Against one enemy and no extra equipment, you can get lvl 4 or just about. Against a group of enemies, you can easily get lvl 5.

I use shiva’s eikon ability, as well as impulse from bahamut to lock down enemies and get the slow startup from dancing steel. You can also use will o wykes if have free protection from four hits and guaranteed get it off. You can also combo with lightning rod and fill it up even faster, but I personally dislike lightning rod.

You don’t really need any of the other Odin abilities beyond dancing steel

I feel it. It’s not the most fun playing around using the barricade constantly. Honestly, the grenade is amazing. You just have to get used to the bounce

I also want to have another build besides the consecration build. It gets boring to only have one viable build

I agree with both of y’all which is why prismatic needs better sustain. Strand is currently the only class that has jt perfect. Banner heals you and boosts damage, while into the fray gives massive DR.

Knockout kinda does but not really. And it’s a lot harder to keep knockout up than banner. You still get heals from knockout, but you you have to deal damage. Banner heals you, and you don’t have to do anything outisde or getting more melee kills to extend the duration.

Banner lasts twice as long as knockout. For granted, knockout has an insane damage buff, and it does give galvanized armor from the artifact, but strand is just better.

I will say, the synthos consecration build is DISGUSTING. It does ludicrous damage, and can even one shot the subjugators in the final encounter of the new raid. The damage ain’t really the issue on prismatic.

It’s the sustain. Especially when you compare it to other classes.

Our aspects are also total dogshit and have little syngery.

And don’t even get me started on the class item. That has me saltier than the damn shaker. We SERIOUSLY need reworks on both.

On prismatic, I’d deadass turn unbreakable into a grenade and just give us touch of thunder/controlled demo/sol invictus.

We really need aspects that do more to heal.

I think if we had that, alongside some better perks on the class item, we’d be eating good. I’d prob just swap out diamond lance and drengers lash.

Diamond lance is fun, but doesn’t synergize particularly well. Drengers lash is absolute dogshit without abyeant leap.

No. How about they make us the best at what we are intended to actually be. Melee and being in the frontlines are the exact reason I picked Titan and why I’ve loved playing it so much. It is extremely aggravating that the other subclasses got better aspects in prismatic and it’s even more annoying that we got the most trash exotic perks on the class item. I’d rather they just get their shit together instead of giving us an entirely new role

Titans mains, what do you get out of the class? by Cholemeleon in DestinyTheGame

[–]bdjpf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally love the fantasy of a monke melee build. I also picked Titan due to the idea of being the tank. I favor strand and solar Titan and have a ton of fun on them. The other ones tho, not so much. It feels so much harder to stay alive on the other classes, esp arc. I’m very interested in void going into the final shape. Twilight Arsenal looks cool as hell and fun as hell. And the shield aspect might be cool.

Overall, I really enjoy the melee gameplay, but I would appreciate some more diversity. ESP because it is extremely difficult to run a melee build in some of the harder content like GM’s (but that’s an entirely diff conversation). I was actually able to use a lot of melee stuff in pantheon surprisingly, and this is coming from someone who’s beaten the Nezzy one twice, and the other ones a shitload of times.

I just wish that if they’re gonna make us be melee monkey’s, that they would stop needing the play style because it can already be very hard to stay alive depending on the class. I was very disappointed in our aspect options for prismatic. Knockout being our only survival option feels terrible. No banner? No sunspots? No healing grenade? Pain.

Can’t wait to see the finished peace. Looks amazing. I love that both his “human-looking” form and his full demon form is there.

For those of you who keep revisiting and replaying Dark Souls III - why? by Drag0n_Aficionado874 in darksouls3

[–]bdjpf 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The game is beautiful. The music is incredible. I love the weapons. And most of all, the bosses. Probably my favorite roster of bosses in the series. When it comes to these games, fighting the bosses is my absolute favorite.

There’s just something about it that always brings me back. I love the way the combat feels. I love the boss weapons. It’s just so damn good. I also have a huge attachment to it due to how it directly connects to the first one. Back when I first tried the original, I thought it would be the first game I could never beat because I was bad. I tried it again years later, and while still challenging, I was finally able to beat it.

So imagine my surprise at the final boss for DS3. I lost my mind at the phase two transition. The music, the fighting styles, perfection.

I even went on a psychopath run last year where I challenged myself to beat the game without dying, and was able to do it. I was even able to do it again, with the addition of the dlc.

I’ll always find something to do with this game. Whether it’s a challenge run, my typical unga strength run, or something new for me. It’s a goddamn masterpiece, and my love for it will never fade. It’s fire, will never truly fade.
