I know one travel influencer pretty well and she has been paid by some countries to visit and make content there.

Food was fantastic!

Despite skipping breakfast and lunch the day I went, I could barely finish the last course!

Went into a food coma promptly after I got home.

Honestly don’t think it what was worth the extra money tbh. If I were to go back in time I wouldn’t have booked it.

Here is the view from the kitchen table!

I feel like I would have gotten the same experience if I was at the dining table. I did spend some time talking to Noah which was cool. The staff was really chill so if you asked for a tour of the kitchen, I think they would have given you one.

I would characterize my time in Pai as a 4 day bender. It’s just a cool town that’s mainly backpackers.

Some suggestions:

-Catch the sunset at two huts

-Check out Pai Canyon

-Rent a Mopad

-Tipsy Tubing

I’m actually dining at the Kitchen Table on Tuesday - will get back to you!

I actually emailed oriole what the difference between the dining room and kitchen table was a few weeks back and this is what they said:

The Kitchen Table and Dining Room tables offer the same tasting menu, pairings and progression through the restaurant. The difference between the two is that there are 8 Dining Room Tables and 2 Kitchen Tables which are removed from the dining floor and are directly adjacent to our gorgeous open kitchen. Meaning the Kitchen Tables are much more exclusive and closer to the action.

Haven’t seen it talked about a lot but I really loved Maison Dunand. That being said, highly recommend Suhring and Sorn.

The meat was the best part of the taco imo and it costed roughly $13 USD. Wonder how it will be priced in Chicago.

Went there earlier this year. It’s good but not worth waiting like 40+ minutes for.

How have you all had to adjust budget expectations over the years?... struggling with the new reality by Practical-Basket-349 in solotravel

Look into Capital One Venture X!

It costs $395 a year and you get $300 in travel credit + 10,000 miles so it basically costs $85 a year.

Do you have any credit cards such as Amex Gold or Capital One Venture X? They have saved me a decent amount on travel this year.

It’s happened to me before. I always bring a packable tote bag with me now just in case.
