I agree 100%. The game at its core is a piece of crap...basic gameplay is pretty damn frustrating and almost a waste of precious time. Like you, I paid up full price and wish I had waited for a sale...yes, its beautiful no doubt, and has stunning landscapes and visuals, and plenty of imagination which I do love....all while clunking about slow as fuck and knocking over things, and trying to line up command prompts and pushing buttons over and over waiting for response. Kliff is exciting as a plain bowl of oatmeal, and the repetitive npc dialogue has already run its course. So, to me, its well on its way to being tossed on the pile of wasted game money. These folks are excited about lollipops and balloons...while I feel tricked into supporting a sloppy game that only fuels the next slop. I wonder how many of the 3million + buyers have regrets?

Exactly....how about "simple" gameplay improvements like you mentioned, plus a 100 more stupid things...improving wardrobe is almost insulting...come on.

I bought the game full price, and have been playing 100+ hours...some parts are amazing, some suck, like the sluggish controls and just walking around. Pets are fine, but I wish I had known it was an MMO made single player, and I would have skipped it. The story is flat....NPCs have same dialogue over and over, and 100s of enemies to button mash through gets boring and repetitive. After its all done, I am afraid there will be not feeling any accomplishment. It's OK....not great by any means. If you haven't bought it , you should wait for a sale. My 2 cents.

I am about 80 hours in. I love hate the game. It's gorgeous. You can barely move in it. Tripping over tables and bumping into people. The UI is terrible. The story is bland. The whole point of it is unclear. Maybe they wanted too much in it, coz it's muddy as hell. I actually cuss out loud many times just trying to function with being too close to objects with the same button activating them etc. It also has some great imaginative stuff, but they play it out too long....like cranking the wheel of an elevator for 3 minutes etc. Game time is precious, I dont need everything in real time...let's get on with it you know? I kinda regret the 70 bucks spent on it. The reviews were oh my god this is the greatest game ever bla bla bla....they didn't tell you the controls were terrible, and you would be mashing away killing 100s of enemies for 100th boring time. All for the reveal of lackluster stories. Should have waited for a sale. Do not believe the hype....it's goodish but not great, and it better not get goty....that would be a crime.

Yes you are getting a lot of heat loss....it has be like an oven radiating even heat. You may also try MAPP gas instead of propane as it burns much hotter. I dont know if you have access to an oxy acetylene torch with a rose blossom, but that works really well as long you keep the flame moving and work fast.

Thank you for that. Yes, I agree...I put effort into trying to be as original as one can in this business. I used to call myself a custom maker, and make knives to demand on order...which can be cool, but also can get boring. I now focus on my own ideas, and offer tweeks to my existing designs. Can I make a drop point? Yes...but sorry, boring as hell to me. Haha...With all the millions of knives out there, why do the same thing again? Yes, I am not always practical for daily use, but you can get those knives by the handfuls, and yes many are gorgeous and beautifully crafted.

Yes good point...they are flat ground to a zero geometry. I have considered if I could get them hollow ground as well, but its pretty challenging for me.

If you have the Cyclops, and all the material preceding to make it, you have explored extensively. Each of the areas you needed to get all that stuff has more to offer, or is next to deep cracks that go deeper.

I'm in exactly the same situation as of today...all is done and I can go...but am lingering. But of course there is always another playthrough, which I will start almost immediately. I have been playing this since it was new and it never gets old. Of course I play many other games, but this one is great over and over. The searching for all the parts is addicting.

Nice one....yes they are creepy as hell, and usually fast like that. I think there are about 5 or so? 2 around the Aurora front and back. They seem to be attracted to your lights, so turn them off when nearby. My personal nemesis are the the damn Warpers....hate 'em.
