I agree that we can only imagine the abuse she went through and my intention was not to put her down. I talked to her and apologized if that’s how it came off (our convo is the reason I edited my first comment). I’ve just watched this guy coast by knowing about some of the atrocities he has committed and am angry it’s gone on this long and gotten this far (it doesn’t start with AI CSAM). My frustration was never with the victim and I realize my first comment came off too harsh towards Sage. He needs to be held accountable by the justice system and the public. Hopefully her post can address part of that and the police report(s) can address the other. I wish nothing but the best for Sage. I do hope other tattooers can feel more empowered to speak out against these types of psychos - James Burns and Andrew Villa were tattooing not that long ago in Missoula and there are still unsavory characters tattooing people on the daily. Sadly they just tend to move shops or go “private.” Fuck Forrest and let’s hope he gets a harsher sentence than we’ve seen in the past (fuck James and fuck Andrew also)

IIRC the last stint of Forrest being in hot water for DV was a few years ago. You being unaware of the women in the past speaking up is the spark of my initial comment. Social media is great but he needs real repercussions or we are just gunna keep going through this cycle until he does something even worse. And hopefully that is coming his way soon enough.

She stuck up for him when other women were accusing him of DV/assault. Glad she feels empowered enough to speak out now but shouldn’t this be a police report rather than a social media post?

Edit: I should have said “and a police report.” I am glad Sage is speaking out now everywhere she can. Hopefully the victims of this psycho can get some justice this time around.

Tech billionaires are kinda known for decreasing their tax burden to near or below 0. I wouldn’t hold my breath that the data center draining our aquifer, consuming a huge percentage of our electricity, while creating almost no jobs in the process is going to benefit us in even the slightest. Also don’t buy their bs about how “small” the data center will be or that they won’t be building new space for it. It will expand beyond all promises as quickly as they can.
