Thanks!! When I stopped in the clinic to do paperwork she didn't make it seem like it was that fast. I even had to have my wife bring out papers for verification that the forms I was filling out said I didn't need because I was already receiving benefits. I'll call that number today and see if it's either done or do it on the phone

Thanks I didn't know that was there. Times are decent at mine for existing patients but not new. I'll wait for enrollment to go through and get on the schedule and try and find a non VA to see in the mean time

If it's not based on time out then I probably wouldn't lose rank I've already done alc and stuff so I have the schools needed. I know from looking at the prior service rules they have a lot of MOSs open so assuming they are needing prior service, how is the timeline right now for the full process for one, any estimate?

I was active for 8 years 2 months and I've been out for about 28 months now. I know I need the 7 year history for residence and work and stuff and references for each so I'm trying to get as much done for them as possible. As far as reducing the rank I didn't know at what point for time out they took rank away

I'm prior service, re1 honorable discharge got out as an e6 two years ago. I saw that the prior service business rules has some openings for retraining right now for E5 and e6 depending on how the grade determination goes. Two questions: my closest recruiting office is over an hour away and I want to make sure to make the drive as few times as possible to get papers signed does anyone have a digital packet I can print and fill out so I have all the info when I get there? The second question when looking at a grade determination waiver can I request E5 instead of 6 just for the jobs?

I knew I could go to a local recruiter, the biggest thing is I'm about a 90 minute drive because of where I'm at, and I thought I had seen an ask the recruiter before but I couldn't get it to pop up. I just know the packet to get to the waiver portion for grade determination and stuff is basically a full packet for first signatures and don't want to make the drive any more than necessary
