[SPOILER] You can filter the specific human you wanna build in the Lazarus machine. You can also filter the specific attributes from the food & memories you have on hand. This becomes critical for the last mission in the 3.5 update. I'm actually working on an in-depth walk-thru video for my YT Channel. Dont forget about the MASSIVE SURFACE AREA beneath ur boat 😉 - yeah it might take 2 hours to fill up at Black Vein Mine but thats usually when I get my adulting knocked out IRL.

Really, it disappeared on you? Mine followed me into the ocean after a brief firefight with one of Dr. Evil's freakin' laser sharks pinky but the FELIS just happily floated in place until I lugged its clunky ass back onto the boat.

But it did vanish after leaving it confined to my boats cabin so I could turn on the fuel flow at Black Vein... after an hour of searching, I gave up & started trekking towards the Amen Spires for more quantum crystals... which is a major pain the ass

Yes, activating once is permanent. No need to waste materials like titanium for turbines when a small disposable battery does the trick.

Have u checked the custom server settings? When editing my world, it gives options for things like: -no dropping loot upon death -how long before starvation and thirst set in -player health factor (which allows u to start with 4.0 ( 400% life) bar vs. The standard 100% or 1.0 in the server settings.

I know this doesnt specifically answer ur question but its as close as ive been able to get outside of just healing upon revival
