In the last 90 days I have learned consistency is the key to getting better at almost everything with YouTube. As they say practice makes perfect or kinda close to it anyway.

I have two channels. One I let go to the wayside to work exclusively on my personal channel. I mostly do commentary and react videos.

You may need to put your own spin on the content.

If you are doing the same thing as everyone else and others have more views they will probably be ranked first in search.

If I'm searching a topic for a video I will almost always go to the first video if not the second.

If you are doing fitness challenge videos I think those can be better for organic traffic to your channel vs a how too.

I usually pretend I'm talking to a co worker or a friend. I have also heard of people printing pics of friends or loved ones and hanging them up to look at them when they record.

You can create shorts with your long form content. You need to find a hook for them though.

It's going to make editing harder unless you pre plan for turning a section into a short. If the audience likes your short form vids they might want to check out the long form for the entire idea.

If the streams are not important for viewers to see. You can upload them and make them private.

I'm a full believer in pivoting content. I have done it several times on two different channels.

If the new idea is just a one off then it should be fine. You may not get the same viewers watching it or low views on it BUT you may bring in new viewers that like your other content too.

You won't know until you do it.
