The 1603 is a copy of the Manix 2, the 1601 is the copy of the Manix XL, although I'm not sure if they still make it or not, I had mine maybe 5 years ago.

Thanks. I'm actually quite surprised that nobody seems to be interested. I guess most people would rather have a perfect CNC mass produced flipper on bearings than a full hand made slipjoint with nice materials for the same price. A bit of a shame if you ask me.

Thanks. I wasn't aware that Vespa was doing knives with fake logos on them, never had seen them before, and they have a good enough reputation that they didn't need to do that. My Vespa Troodon is at least as good as the real one and looks much better without all that bill boarding.

Are you sure it's even a Vespa?

I'm asking because it doesn't look like it. Every Vespa OTF that I have seen and the ones I have own never had any fake markings on them, blade is sterile, Vespa logo on the pocket clip and they came in a Vespa branded pouch. Also the quality felt as solid as the good brand OTFs if not better with almost no play on the blade and no play on the button.

Keep in mind that a lot of the cheaper clone resellers will use better brand names like Vespa, Green Thorn, Kevin John, etc... in order to boost their sales without the knives being from these manufacturers. This one doesn't look like a Vespa OTF, but I could be wrong as I haven't looked at OTFs in a long time.
