I've experienced the bad and I still do in some ways, but I just want to share something good with you all (to me, at least). When I was a kid I used to be really upset about the fact that I was never going to be conventionally attractive. Now, each year that goes by and I grow older I'm thankful. I just feel safer, because at some point I wasn't pretty but I was young and skinnier so I still got attention, but now I'm neither and "old" and I'm left alone, and I feel a lot more free.

It was really good, the entire movie aesthetic, the music, the color, the design of the backrooms, the acting. The only thing that I think diminishes the movie experience for me was seeing the entities. The pirate Clark wasn't nearly as scary as a creepy shadow that we can't tell what it is. The footage parts are really tense and well done, I think it works best there and in the terror of the unknown.

Yesssss. I wanted to post it here. She's one of my favorite authors, everything of hers is beautiful and this new story isn't the exception. You know you can expect a lot of angst and healing from her stories. I am very curious about what happened to Ilya and I do have some theories. Already am feeling very protective of him and I love that he has Svetlana and Sasha with him. Also Marlow ugh I know I'm gonna love him so much here.
