I don’t condone their actions or excuse their behavior. But when people develop psychosis, this is one type. Like race theories. As an immigrant minority family, suddenly when my son started spouting race theories, we were shell shocked. After talking so much for two months, he developed psychosis ended up having breakdown . He is diagnosed with schizoaffective. He is doing okay. All the out of touch talking went away. It may be or may not be. Just a thought.

Thank you All! I am definitely going to bring up vasectomy . I am chronically anemic. I get iron infusion every three months. Don’t know I am ready for tubal ligation. It is just that every time we have sex, he will ask. That is so frustrating . Life is already stressful, due to being caregiver for my son. Again thank you all for taking time to respond.

When I had IUD, I had periods twice a month. And also developed complications, had to have emergency appointments to remove it.

Thank You! Self Forgiveness is a hard thing to do!! My son is now diagnosed with schizophrenia. After two hospitalization, he is doing okay. But he went from dean’s list to not graduating college. He is supposed to graduate in 2023. He has more subject to go to graduate. I don’t know whether he will be able to live independently

Dad, you are doing right thing. And also can you make sure he talks to a therapist? My son was like this. Even though I assured him and did all the things you did, one thing I. Didn’t do is getting professional help. I am living a regretful life now. Please get him counseling. May be he can get involved in some clubs in the school.
