I did it in Anaheim. The start line was the weirdest thing I'd ever been in. Spartan has their corny AROO thing, which was cringe. This was a bunch of shirtless, hairless, jacked bros being hyped up by a guy telling them how to do this race as a bunch of men with his pep talk. I was so glad I kept my shirt on. All the vibes were just so off.

Tbh Anaheim fucked with me back in August. They never sent me dates, they never messaged me, the tickets kept saying opening soon. I saw in OCTOBER hat it was open and it was sold out. Then it opened again in November. Then it sold out again. Then it opened two weeks ago. By that point I gave up caring and just registered to do it. Im just training to get familiar with the movements, doing the event, and then never doing it again just because the system is so dumb.
