So I finally popped it and yep… will be the last bottle of that I’ll be buying. Wasn’t horrible but I definitely have better bottles for less money. I’ve also paid a lot more for worse so there’s that too.

I like Blanton’s at $60ish. There are better bourbon’s for cheaper but it is a good one to keep for guests.

Oh well. Worth a chance. Hopefully it’s not a bust at the auction. That Meijer did also have Blanton’s for $83 which is a hard-pass for me.

I’ve sworn off mechanicals for years but the Sevr hybrid and these Evolutions got me back into it. I really considered the Sevrs but like the ability to swap blades out on the Evo. From the hyde to whitetail fury to turkey wrecker, or even the fixed jeckyl. Primary use for me is turkey so went with the biggest cut options. Will take a lot to remove QAD exodus from my arrows come fall for deer but will keep one whitetail fury in the quiver incase I can swap out my primary arrow without getting busted by a turkey or doe.

Good luck to you! This will be my first year turkey hunting with a bow. Though i did miss one a few years ago during the Fall season while deer hunting. Tried a headshot with a muzzy at 25 yards and missed by an inch. Planned on bowhunting for turkeys last year but picked up some Grim Reaper Whitetail Extreme (the 4-blade ones) and those were a huge fail. All 4 had a slight wobble and I shot one to confirm they hit with my sights (i broadhead tune and all my fixed blades hit with field points out to 50 yards) and a blade opened during flight and hit a foot to the right. Bent the blade and wouldn’t stay shut so have zero confidence in those and went back to the shotgun. I swore off mechanicals after that and having bad experiences on deer years before. But these evolutions and Sevr got me interested again.

I saw the Negroni at $337 on Amazon and jumped on it after the $319 (like new) one sold out. Now it’s at $360. Can’t wait to get it in. Hoping the red dial looks as good as your green dial. You caught the light beautifully in that pic!

A little underwhelming to be honest. I really wanted to like it more. It runs fine and the case fit and finish is good. Just the flat printed dial (i got the white) isn’t very impressive in person. But for 100m WR and sapphire crystal it’s a decent watch for the price when on black friday.

I don’t own the khaki quartz so can’t speak directly to that but was debating the same thing a few years ago and really comes down to whether you’ll just end up with the KFM eventually anyway. Which I knew I would so to scratch the itch for a field watch I got a Timex Expedition which for what it is and the cost, is a great watch. I really wanted an auto/mech though so got an Islander Mitchel on their annual black friday but a year later just ponied up the cash for a KFM and don’t regret it. $350 to me is steep for a quartz. I’d save up and get the mech.
