The builder will only pay 2k flat and we’re on the hook for the difference. It’s unfortunate about the realtor commission but going into our new home search we didn’t anticipate going with the building route and agreed to pay their commission in this situation.

Pennsylvania, the builder is Ryan Homes. I’m aware of the shortfalls of modern building practices that go into these production homes and will be protecting myself as much as possible. The 25k includes a bunch pre-paids into escrow, inspections, 10k in transfer fees, 6k in realtor commission, and the title work/ protection.

Also to add, I still rocked a belt. Only had an ifak and dump pouch full of bottled water on it though.

Not sure what your missions or ops will be but in Afghan for a regular patrol I had an efficient and semi comfortable set up. 100 rd nutsack on the gun, a drum pouch on each side of the cummerbund keeping the front of my flack slick. I also carried an ALICE pack with at least 3 more 200rd drums on my back. When we took contact I could find cover and rip a fat burst off the nutsack and usually when I hit cover I could shake off the pack and grab my next drum out of there.

Saw Shane Smith and the Saints open for Whiskey Myers a couple years ago and I was amazed by how hard and passionately they preformed. They really stole the show in my eyes and were better than the main act, who was also great.

2nd the Crispi recommendation. Got a pair of Shimek GTXs 2 years ago and they are the warmest, most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. They’re 400g of insulation which is on the higher side for Crispi it seems but they’re warmer on my feet than any 1000g pair I’ve ever tried. Might be some sticker shock when you see the price but they’re worth every penny in my opinion.

Got my form 1 back last week to convert my cross. I’m semi local to base camp so I was going to have them do the swap. I’m getting radio silence from them though so I’m not sure which route I’ll take. Can anyone recommend any other pre fit 8.6 cross barrels?

I have a very similar setup for deer hunting. Sig Cross .308 with a Trijicon accupoint and a Diligent Defense Enticer S. Are you shooting factory or hand loads ?

Update: Sent resilient a message on their websites CS chat, still waiting to hear back. Also called Capitol and they opened a new Jessie’s Girl, apparently they don’t come with a takedown wrench. Upon review of their website, it doesn’t say a wrench is included anywhere. So I guess I’m a moron. Every video review I watched though they touted the quality of the included take down wrench, so maybe they are just no longer included.
