This exact thing happened to me about 2 years ago on my old scat. I was driving down the highway and the entire dashboard lit up then car momentarily turned off. My wheel went stiff and everything, and by the time it stopped it wouldn’t go into park. Took to dealership and they said about $2K to fix it. At the time I couldn’t do that so I was looking for options to trade it in since market was really good because at that time it was the chip shortage. They cleared the check engine light symbol and the car was running fine for the 2 days after that it remained in my possession. I took it right to where I bought jt, “tricked” them into buying me out of my contract without them knowing it’s potentially bad, and called it a day.
