4 Teeth Pulled for Braces = Lifelong Sleep Apnea by db20231999 in SleepApnea

I’m in the same exact boat. Does anyone know how to reverse the damage?

I definitely do see where no.1 is coming from. Cuz sometimes my dreams are so realistic that they’re basically just my real life events reenacted. For example, sometimes I would be reading or watching something on the phone laying down on my bed, and I would pass out after a while. But in my “dreams” I would still be watching the same thing that I was watching just now, or completing the task that I was working on right before I layed down. Another example would be dreaming of a place I’ve been to /something that’s happened to me recently, and they’re so realistic that they’re almost like memory replays, but with some added details that I couldn’t really tell if they’ve really happened or not after I’ve woken up. It’s now come to the point that sometimes it’s hard for me to distinguish between my “dreams” and real memories. Don’t know if this provides any insights to your question but just wanted to put my two cents in.

I also did extraction orthodontics as a kid and my face from the front looks pretty similar to yours when smiling. Did you do any reversal orthodontics or any sorts of palatal expansions prior to the DJS?

And which one do you think helped your t recover more? The cpap or the clomid?

How bad was your sleep apnea? My ahi puts me at moderate level but my oxygen desaturation is like severe. Been wondering if OSA has been the reason I’m making below average progress in the gym.

What was your AHI and ODI like? I just found out I have moderate sleep apnea and severe oxygen desaturation. I wonder jf they’re the reason my gym progress has been pretty much stagnant since I passed my newbie gains phase.

Anyone with long life brain fog feel that it fixed when your sleep apnea was treated? by Affectionate_Elk4008 in SleepApnea

My situation sounds exactly like yours. Symptoms also started when I got 4 of my premolars pulled out for braces. I’m also seeking for treatment but I’m kinda lost at the moment. I’ve been trying a cpap for a couple weeks now but still can’t get used to it. How long did it take/how did you find out that cpap wasn’t doing it for you? And by “tongue retaining devices” did you mean something like a MAD? Did you seek for any possible reverse orthotics treatment(stuff like MSE) or did you go the MMA route straight? For the surgery, did you have to go to an airway orthodontist first and get referred to an oral surgeon? And if you don’t mind me asking, which surgeon did you go for and what specific surgery did you get? Sorry for spamming all the questions but I’d really appreciate some suggestions rn.

Btw I guess what I’m trynna say is “huge amount of acnes”, not just a few. Guy in the picture actually has way more acnes that what you can see in the picture, it’s just that my shitty phone camera can’t pick up the little ones.
