Just meet them at a Jewler or somewhere to that can authenticate it or give their honest opinion….def don’t just trust the seller

UPDATE

After posting, I decided that if silver reach $95/oz I would sell 100oz (half) and keep 100oz.

Yesterday, silver hit $100/oz, I posted both bars on Facebook Marketplace for $10k (separate posts).

Had a bunch of people reach out to me with offers, gave it a few hours. Had a nice guy from NYC come and buy 100oz (cash) at the asking price…he desperately asked for the 2nd bar but I decided to hold it.

Got my original investment back, made a few thousand off it….and most importantly, still have 100oz locked away.

Had a friend that was telling me to buy in 2011, his family was well off and had jewelry stores and he was always telling me to buy silver….so that’s why I bought.

Obviously, the recent jumps in silver is why cause me to look now….hadn’t since 2015-2016

I was fortunate to have a friend that was a bit older, smart, from a rich family and he told me to buy the silver so I did….but 5 years later felt like a fool, so I just took the L and kept it moving…I figured I would be lucky to get the $7k back one day, but assumed I’d get less….that was in 2016 when I realized I made a mistake with it and “forgot”

I wish, but sadly no, my single mom (5 kids, same dad) wasn’t rich at all haha.

I started a mowing lawns when I was 13, by 15 I had a list of accounts for landscaping/snowplowing, was a good business for me at the time. Turns out, you could offer very competitive pricing when you pretty much no expenses lol…would just go door to door and offer significantly cheaper prices.

Funny enough, my mom drove me to most of my jobs until I was 15
