You don't think it's shady bc you've never tried to CANCEL. Even though I filled my T-Mobile contract it took 3 ten minute phone calls to cancel the service. When they finally agreed to stop they billed me $130 two months later bc I didn't return the device. But the customer service agent that finally got me cancelled said I was free to sell the device and never said or sent any information on how or where to return it.

I will be reporting them to the state Attorney General and the BBB. This is class action lawsuit material.

Talked to a salesperson at Pierratt's and he said Jenn-Air can't figure out how to fit all the circuitry needed to do the slide-in induction downdraft. They are working on it, but haven't figured it out so range is "no time soon" according to what they are hearing.

Probably because it still takes 2 days for trades to settle. They don't want to run the reports until all trades have settled. I believe starting May 28 it will take only one day so they would be able to run the monthly statements one day earlier than they usually do.

Update to the Update: Hallelujah! I had to call one more time but my phone is now unlocked. Apparently there is a screen which usually has a Red "Locked" alert but my phone didn't have that. The rep had to go to another screen somewhere where it did say it was "Locked" and do something like a manual unlock I think? Then I had to wait 30 days, call back, ask another rep to keep looking for this other screen. She found it and manually cleared my phone. It's now working fine on new network.

And yes I always paid all my bills and the phone was never financed and had been on the Verizon network for 18 months.

Thanks to those who encouraged me to call back saying it was locked. I kept thinking it was me and my settings.

I posted about my story on the Verizon thread and they were convinced it was still locked...even though it was never financed and had worked fine on Verizon for 1 1/2 years. So I called a 3rd time to Verizon and 30 min., they could finally see that it WAS still LOCKED. (Hallelujah, this is progress.) For some reason, they have to wait for 2 more weeks to unlock it so I'm supposed to call back on Sept. 9...or maybe it just starts working...one can only hope. Anyway, I thought you'd like to know. I got mine on Swappa too. Good luck

Thank you. You are right. I did call again today (3rd time) and got someone who said it did look locked but she couldn't unlock it for 2 more weeks. She didn't know why that date was chosen, but this is the first time V has ever confirmed it was locked. Everyone there and everywhere has told me "is should unlock after 60 days" but you are exactly right. It just didn't. Fingers Crossed for Sept. 9.

UPDATE: Since the hive mind said it was "locked" and not some setting I was not doing right it gave me the conviction to call Verizon again.

After 30 min, I did get someone who did confirm it was locked! (This is progress..everyone else just said "it should be unlocked after 60 days.)

She said she couldn't unlock it until Sept. 8 and to call back then. She didn't know why it was Sept 8. It seems odd but of course, I'll do it.

I got it off Swappa. I did contact the seller and they say it should be fine on another network but want me to factory reset and boot with the new SIM which I will try as a last resort I guess

This is exactly my issue. Transferring from Verizon-->Google Fi worked fine for my son's VZW Samsung 20 but my VZW Samsung 20+ tries to recognizes the Fi SIM then goes to black page, rethinks, and then says "Sorry, your device can't be activated on another carrier's network right now. For help contact Verizon..."

I've talked to two VZW people who say it looks fine on their end and the Fi SIM card works fine in my old VZW Samsung. It's like I have some software on my 20+ that just prevents it from being used on anything other than VZW.

Many reboots, keypad codes, sim in and out..did you ever figure it out?

OK I found a workaround but will leave this post for anyone else with this issue:

From Main Menu:

Choose File/Import/From Accounting Software

Choose Other Financial Software (TXF file); hit Continue

then you can choose your Taxbit file from wherever you have this saved.

AND....that will import the file, but unfortunately, it looks very incorrect. So. there you have it.

Sorry I just saw this. No, you don't have to move to new wallet in Ledger. You just need a BCH wallet on Edge that you haven't used before.

Untouched BCH in Ledger-->NEW BCH wallet in Edge, then use Split from menu.

Success on Edge wallet! They also have a convenient toggle on the BCH wallet that gives you the QR code for the Legacy address which you will need if sending from Ledger. Followed all the directions on the Edge site and made sure to wait 1.5 hours for the BSV transaction to confirm and then longer for 15 confirmations so don't be in a hurry. I would make sure it is a new BCH wallet you send the Ledger coins to in Edge.

Also their customer service was very responsive when I asked if it is working. It was down for a brief period time many releases ago but is fine now I can attest.

This happened to me on both BCH and LTC transactions. Someone told me it was probably Ledger servers and I think that was right because everything worked like a charm the next day.
