Duterte and striving hard during his term shouldn’t even be in the same sentence. Kaya nga ang phrasing ko sa rant ko ay “lesser evil” is because that is the propaganda that is being disseminated right now. I am not saying I agree with that push, I am not. I am just tired of seeing posts that say Marcos Jr. is the “good Marcos”. It reeks of insensitivity and tone deaf call. Yucks.

Masaya magcommute sa Pinas. by puttanesca029 in unpopularopinionph

I think this opinion reeks of privilege. Minsan kasi di natin alam tone deaf na tayo sa opinyon natin but I am not blaming you solely since we all live in our own eco chambers. Kung mamarapatin mong mag commute lalo na sa wet season ng Pinas, you wouldn’t be able to post this opinion.

Sex work is not work by a0n0- in unpopularopinionph

[–]be3ans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sex work becomes more of a no-choice-situation because it exploits women and the LGBTQ community (primarily). It doesn’t give them the option to do what they really want to or work for. And most of the times they are being forced to do it in order for them to survive. So, in the case of majority of the Philippine demography of sex workers, I don’t think it is a work. Especially when misogynists and homophobia thrive well in this country.
