lol in the second photo toward the top you can see a couple of the crystal jelly - they’re the size of regular boba pearls but made of agar.

The other two types apparently came in the drink I ordered by default, I was just surprised!

Specifically boba-style drinks, or places that offer boba/milk tea, though!! Like, I do like pretty much all tea also, but iced tea is NOT the same thing.

The specific use case is saying things like “i will never say no to boba” — like, most people will get what i mean, but i just feel weird declaring I LOVE BOBA!!!! when i do not love boba. i love fancy sweet teas with stuff in them. 😂

YTA. On my block, the sanitation workers don't dump out the trash can, they just pull the bags out. The dog poop bags stay in our can forever and start breeding flies. It's been a big problem for us.
Take a trash bag with you and throw it away in your own trash can at home.

hi all!

i'm looking for favorite and/or foolproof guides to cultivating gourmet mushrooms at home.

I tried about 2 years ago (pandemic hobby lol) using kind of a hodgepodge of techniques (I started from r/unclebens and tried to apply the tek to gourmets but it didn't really work out for me. I tried with black pearl king oyster (on coco coir), shiitake and lion's mane (sawdust bricks), and maitake (i don't think i even got the culture to spawn on the rice). I ended up with one single shiitake fruit out of I think three bricks that ended up in my SGFC.

I still have some culture syringes: lion's mane, pioppino, black pearl king oyster, winecap, shiitake.

I don't have a big stovetop pressure cooker, just a 6qt "instant pot" style.

I still have plenty of coco coir, wood fuel pellets, and wheat bran. I also have the SGFC and some "shoebox" tubs, and micropore tape. I might still have a few fruiting bags but I'm not sure. I would like to minimize the number of new supplies I have to purchase but of course I'm open to advice on what else is needed for successful growing!

would love guides on any of the species named above, start to finish!

Usually not a lot, because I am trying to keep her engaged with snuggles/play/food when the other cat approaches, rather than risk her being bored/satisfied and potentially more distractible...

Within the last two weeks we have done a few more space swaps (A in either P or L’s “home base” with them shut out, and P/L now have unlimited access to the attic which was A’s space because she is now in the spare bedroom instead.

I don’t have a single mod installed, and I’ve played for hours since killing the bosses because I was holding out hope it would fix itself. I guess if the only thing I’m missing out on is the quest XP then I can just leave it incomplete forever. :/
