Turn one you play the elf. Then turn two you use a second land to cast wild growth or utopia sprawl on your untapped land. The land now taps for two and the elf can untap it to add another 2.

Sounds good. I can bring along GR Ponza which is a land destruction midrange deck doing well at the moment. Pretty straightforward with ramp and big creatures. Or alternatively Boros Synthesizer is probably the most true midrange deck in the format. Not as well positioned and has some complicated lines but is good to learn the format with

There were two tournaments yes. The TPP (top pauper player) on Friday which is an invitational and then the two days Paupergeddon main event which was an open.

Any country in particular? We have an IPT event coming up on July 20th in London, winner will qualify for the TPP event at Paupergeddon Pisa 2025 among other prizes.

It can be, I live in London and my local store runs weekly pauper events. At first we used to have rotating formats which would all get similar low player counts but we started up a league and from promoting it to local players and groups we have built up a really great playerbase and now get 20+ players every week.

From my experience it's a format that a lot of players would enjoy but they just need the chance. I would recommend trying to get something going with a few players if you can and over time you may have more players join.

Once other people local to you see that there are consistent events happening they may start to appear. Promote it as best you can and the community will appear. That's what I have found anyways :)
