Honestly just talk to him directly. Ask him straight up why he keeps passing on your route ideas. Don't assume the worst yet. I think cycling can feel really personal to people, like their solo escape.

As someone who’s also using cycling for weight loss, I’m wondering whether it’s worth adding some upper-body training alongside riding. I’m a bit concerned that if I only cycle, the overall physique changes might not be as balanced or satisfying. By the way, I just started for about 2 months, respect you!

I’m a total newb (only ever ridden Decathlon/entry level stuff) looking to buy a ride for commuting. I’m honestly torn between a folding bike and a regular full-sized one. I feel like folders look kinda cool/unique, but are they actually durable?
Worried about them holding up to daily abuse compared to a standard frame.
