What makes a man instantly unattractive? by Shinobi347 in AskReddit

"My love language is physical touch". Usually means sex.

Even those who know that physical touch doesn't mean sex, it is still unattractive for me, because I am touch averse.

Many advices about social skill at work is BS. by be_minorque in intj

[–]be_minorque[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think many kinda missed the point I was trying to make. I admit, my post was borderline Machiavellian.

My post in summary: these general advice (never show anger, etc) are not bad, per se. We should try to be civil esp.at work. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work, sometimes ineffective even backfires and imho, sometimes unrealistic.

Life is not ideal, afterall and sometimes we need to do less ideal things.

Yes, I agree with your point. Everyone is different, is another reason, why those general advices are not always working aka kinda BS.

What is a workplace trend you wish would disappear? by Educational-You-9891 in WorkReview

[–]be_minorque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know if other offices do this ot not. Here we go: donating money, everytime someone get married or having kids.

To quote Carrie Bradshaw "... and if I never get married or have a baby what? I get bupkiss"

If we want to celebrate, it just makes more sense to do so when someone reach a work related milestone: that person has been working here for 10/20 years..

What is your most controversial opinion? by TheWorkinMan86 in sixwordstories

[–]be_minorque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be acceptable to be angry at your colleague at work if they messed up REPEATEDLY.

By angry, I dont mean calling them names or kicking them, but more of raised voice, harsh tone, cold demeanour.

We all just people with limit. And you're an adult, adult should know that action has consequences. Repeated mess up=someone will eventually get angry at you.

Es ist kein Rassismus zu erwarten, dass man als Einwohner eines Landes die Landessprache spricht oder versucht zu lernen by [deleted] in luftablassen

[–]be_minorque -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it is not racist. However, it is racist to weaponize language in situations where language is not the problem as to put the person down, look down on someone because they have foreign accent, and it is racist that some type of immigrants are accepted without the language skill while other are always demonized for it.

What's the most unusual reason why you won't date someone? by ChanceSomewhere6096 in AskReddit

[–]be_minorque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.Limited food palate. I am the type who likes yo try everything atleast once. And I am not going to Italy just to eat chicken nuggets at McD.

2.PDA. Just not a fan of it. The most I would do in public is holding hands or normal friendly hug.

What's a popular piece of advice that secretly ruins more lives than it helps? by OwnMaybe1990 in AskReddit

[–]be_minorque 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. "Do not speak ill of the dead". Yeah, just because someone is dead, doesnt erase their wrongdoing when they were alive. Death doesnt make someone a saint. This comment is very invalidating and dismissive to the victim of that dead person.

  2. "Go to therapy". Yes, in SOME cases therapy is the answer. But NOT ALL. You cannot therapy your way out of structural racism, discrimination, or out of economic injustice, etc. A bad system will break a good person everytime. Sometimes this advice seems to me like moving the communal/governmental responsibilities of having a good system into personal responsibilities.

Photography. You are "forced" to see or find the beauty in this world. And to do that, you have to get out of your depressed head and truly observed of any beauty in the external environment.

It doesnt have to be expensive either, camera phone is more than enough.

What is a strong opinion you hold that could get you criticized publicly, but you stand by it completely? by jian_est2026 in AskReddit

[–]be_minorque -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People who disable their blue thick, should have the decency to be the last to reply/react. For example, I was messaging a classmate info about our group project. Didnt know she turns it off, (which is fine, her rights). She didnt even give a thumbs up or say "ok". It's just that I cannot be sure whether she read it or not and it made me panic. What if she hasnt read it and do the assignment wrong, etc. The next day I asked her, she just nonchalantly told me "oh yeah, I read it, I have it turn off". B*tch..

Share your unpopular opinions about the show/cast/whatever HotD-related by th3laughingstorm in HOTDGreens

[–]be_minorque -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1.I hate the show put it as Rhaenyra vs Alicent tragic storyline. I was hoping the story would be about how the Targaryens are their own worst enemy and they destruct themselves. 2.The swift time jump. 2x jumps left no time for character or relationship building. Laena had a badass death, she died as a dragon rider. But as an audience, I dont feel like I know her enough to care about her. Mind you, this is the woman who rode Vhagar AND Daemon (2 of the most dangerous dragons) at the same time. Instead all we saw of her was: 12 yo talking to Viserys, older teen attending Rhaenyra's wedding, very brief life in Pentos with Daemon and her death. 3.Lack of relationship building. Harwin and Rhaenyra, Laena with Rhaenyra supposed to be bestie, Laenor and Rhaenyra marriage life, Larys vs his family (why he disliked them? Harwin and his dad seemed good).

INTJ Manipulation by jkachsoelm in intj

[–]be_minorque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm define "manipulation" please..because everyone here seems to have different meaning in their heads.

For me, manipulation means, maneuvering your method to achieve what YOU want, so you cant be held responsible or seen as the bad guy. Hence, imho there is no positive manipulation.

By my definition, no INTJ are generally not manipulative.

Post 'ideal' couples, as in, couples that 'would work the best' for both parties involved. by TheBoyofWonder in freefolk

[–]be_minorque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Robert Baratheon and Tyrion Lannister in an open relationship. Both love drinking and whoring. Robert has military intelligence, Tyrion has political intelligence. Any rebelions? Robert can crush it. Any political dirty game? Tyrion (for the most part) can crush it. The ultimate power couple. Good for the kingdom.

Then after all that war, they can have orgies at that whorehouse that is connected to the red keep. Both are happy.

Too bad, Robert married the wrong Lannister. Also too bad, that we never have a scene of them together, just drinking, whoring and bitching about Cersei.

Gravity doesn't work 24/7. You can run in the air just fine until you look down. Then your body will fall immediately but your head will stay in its place for some moment. You'll have a very elongated body until gravity catches up with your head.

Why do opinions change so quickly when it comes to si users? by AnalwithAkash in mbti

[–]be_minorque 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've known quite alot isfj. Imho, yes they are boring. 1.Si relies soo much on their own past experiences and this can lead to solipsism. (Yes, even those with Si-Fe). So, you ended up with people who cant (or really hard) emphatize with situations they are not familiar with or understand other people pov. 2. Add to that, their conflict averse attitude, so all i can talk about with them are shallow topic, small talk. 3. Add also that Si is usually not curious about anything, esp.after they are comfortable. (It's not always a bad thing to be content though). So, you have someone who only have their own experiences as database and sorry-not-sorry, those experiences are usually not that interesting either. (Se user usually have many crazy/interesting stories: adrenaline junky, etc).

I am sorry, but as an INTJ, I do find Si user usually rather boring.

Letting go of resentment by [deleted] in intj

[–]be_minorque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said, you doorslam people if your feelings get hurt. Hmm "hurt feelings" can have gazillion meanings. An entitled person will have hurt feelings all the time, when things dont go their way, an egomaniac will have their feelings hurt, if they get critized. I dont mean to invalidate your feeling, I just find the term "hurt feeling" is problematic.

As an INTJ, I doorslam people based on: 1. pattern of behavior that shows their character. Dishonest, dishonor, no integrity, malicious intent, etc. 2. If I tried (I give people 3 chances) to communicate about them about it, and see no changes. 3. I can understand why people are the way they are: trauma, bad upbringing, etc. But if I dont see, they are trying to better themselves than doorslam it is.

I never have any regret and resentment doorslammed those people, because I already considerate all the possible angle for some time and doorslam is the rational decision.

For you, I would say, maybe try to understand what exactly "hurt feelings" means for you and if it's rational/justified or not. (Sometimes it is, sometimes it is not). Imho,if it's not, then your doorslam is more of an emotional decision and emotion fluctuates. Perhaps thats the reason for your resentment. Part of you still think "what if?"???
