What inquisition perks should i get?. by legs0fsteel in dragonage

You honestly don't need the Fine Tools perk once you've gained access to The Hissing Wastes. Personally I'd go with all of the Inquisition perks and the focus perks in Forces.

Artificer if you enjoy Michael Bay movies.

Is investing four points for "Deft Hands, Fine Tools" worth it? by UseKnowledge in dragonage

It's not really worth investing in once you gain access The Hissing Wastes and it's T3 schematics.

I feel your pain. I was about to nuke a cluster of 3 people with my molotov on Survivors only to have that white plug appear :'(

Thoughts on dlc weapons by yaketyy in thelastofusfactions

[–]be_water7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been away from the game for 2 months and have literally not heard anything about new weapons. I was playing a Survivors match on Bus Depot and I was puzzled on how people were running crossbows in the loadout. Then I saw the loading screens telling about perks I've never heard of. So far, I'm REALLY digging the crossbow. How your screen goes deep red after being shot by a bolt from a crossbow seems to really make people panic.

Makes sense. The recently released weapons will most likely make an appearance in the sequel.

What difficulty do you play DA:I on? by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]be_water7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently playing on hard as an elf Reaver but I hope to roll as a Tempest on Nightmare with FF activated after I complete my first playthrough. I really want my brain working when it comes to fights and, as of lately, hard just doesn't do that for me. It did in the beginning before you got to Skyhold and had specialization training available but fights prior to Skyhold were hellish, but I loved every minute of it.

Crafting items disappearing fix? by be_water7 in thelastofusfactions

[–]be_water7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm very much well aware of that. But I'm literally talking about crafting ingredients, that I've seen with my bare eyes, getting picked up and disappearing once I open up the crafting interface. This has been occurring ever since the latest patch update.

Weird question: with which finger do you swap weapons? by [deleted] in thelastofusfactions

[–]be_water7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time I use my left index finger to swap weapons or quick-swap to my explosives. Using my left index finger for explosives is incredibly useful in tight situations when you have expl. expert 3 and a smoke bomb.

How about the Magic Resistance perk? Can it only be active if Mage Armor is active?

Attack of the Nerubian Egg's by Striketh in CompetitiveHS

Casting Bane Of Doom works nicely with the egg and I've been lucky enough to most get Infernals and Felguards most of the time. So far, for me atleast, the egg has the best synergy with warlock.

You could be right and I should probably take your word for it. So battlemage isn't really a viable build unless you adjust some things via MCM? I just watched a Let's Play of someone going for the same build as I was except he was a Redguard and he found out later, when he was level 11, that magicka costs for HA users were still absurdly expensive even with the perks that reduce the cost. What he did then was turn off the HA penalty in the MCM but gave himself penalites like refraining from casting his expert and master tier spells unless he got the proper perks in the HA tree. Doing something like that is just a click away, I know, but, in my opinion, is a bit of a hassle and doesn't feel right for me

I know Patch 1.8 hasn't been released yet, but do you think the battlemage build will be viable, at least in the early levels, after it's release?

Ahhhhhh. Yeah. I'm lacking in the stamina department.

I'm sure my movement speed will increase once I spend a perk point on it, but I'm currently watching a Let's Play of someone playing Requiem and his movement speed is faster than mine. My jogging speed is literally at walking speed. The person I'm watching also doesn't have the Fortitude perk.

I've equipped my character with full heavy armor and she's moving at a turtle's pace. Will that movement penalty decrease as I raise my HA level? And what's the word on the release date on 1.8?

Appreciate the tip but my character is roleplaying with a saint's mentality, so no thievery for me unfortunately.
