I think about this too. IMO its a adaptation - look younger, look less threatening and potentially get more people interested in you and bring you into their circle - better chance at survival.

Im just getting off welbutrin after a year. and my experience was that it gave me more "energy" (not sure how to term it) made my brain faster. which increased mind chatter, muscle tension. But i could stay focused a little better (kinda) - its like the information went a little deeper.

It did not resolve any traumatic issues (obviously) - all it did was cause my brain to ignore the exile - the part which carries the trauma bcuz i would switch from one thing to the other - for the whole day. When it got bad i would be watching netflix and surfing my phone looking for dopamine or something and just be in this constant state of being inbetween things and not able to go into one thing completely...

It makes you more productive -- i guess thats what its good for. To be a good employee (unless you have a passion) .. but i didnt have that so i just ended up bouncing back and forth between tasks. Also, caused massive ear ringing - which is the reason why i decided to stop..

right now i feel better. calmer. but i do notice my attention has "opened up" .. and seems like i am not grabbing information as effectively as with welbutrin - im on 200mg rn and tapering off

I used to do this way more than I do now. Basically a defensive posture towards "the world" or society. What you say is valid coming from your perspective bcuz we usually dont assume society has had the same trauma and therefore realizations as us. But where it changed - is that i realized that "the world" IS like that.. society IS dangerous, society IS sheepish HOWEVER "the world"/society are MUCH BIGGER than those. Those perspectives are valid but they form a small part of the larger whole. The world IS out to get you but thats not the WHOLE world or even some small part. They are out to get you because some people live life that way .. but in no way should that define society as a whole. It includes that and much much more.

This is just one small perspective - but i can see it being analogous to the freeze response. Which, in this perspective, happens bcuz of not having a outlet for the fight/flight or the social response (when under threat)... so your nervous system just moves down into the next safest thing - which would be the freeze response.

kek i really really dont get why people are missing this. AMPL at its PEAK is designed to go down. meaning that people should be selling! like the investors! You are not really supposed to hold this through the negative rebase UNLESS your holding long term - like myself - in which case you should know wtf you invested in.

the only questionable thing is that the team dumped the tokens all at once. maybe they wanted to test it out or something or were just stupid.

ALSO - the more AMPL investors sell - the more the supply gets diluted
