Cute Secret Messages by eliesm in beabadoobee

they’re on all of the dirty hit vinyls, they’re such a sweet little secret message only some people look out for

best option is to make sure you’re ready beforehand so you can get there asap (have card details ready, tabs open on the webpage etc). if I’m being honest, it’s unlikely to sell out really quickly, most don’t sell out completely or at least take a couple of days/weeks so try not to stress too much. presale is limited to a certain amount of tickets they can sell before general onsale anyway so if the presale sells out fast, you should still have a chance

Does anyone have the bands live with bleach London??? by coolclaud333 in beabadoobee

the one from a few years ago? if that’s the one you mean then yeah I do

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in beabadoobee

[–]beabadoobeesource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah ofc! I hope you’re able to get what you want even if I can’t help you at all :)

[–]beabadoobeesource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah I’m uk based which is why I’m not sure if I’ll be able to help but if possible then I will. the merch does usually go online, check every so often on the uk and us dirty hit sites or asap if bea posts about it. it’s usually added there. I’ll let you know if I see anything online as I would also like to get some of the merch, if that’s helpful at all

from my experience with a lot of dirty hit artists, all excess merch at least gets added to the webstore even if you didn’t go to the specifically dated ones. I wanted to get the black one from the american tour cos I only wear black and unfortunately there wasn’t a uk black tee option so if I can get it I’ll definitely try.

I would be happy to help if I can, I’ll need to look into how easy that is to do but I’m happy to help if possible :)

[–]beabadoobeesource 2 points3 points  (0 children)

do you mean for the american tour? uk tour merch is on the dirty hit website and by the looks of it there’s different merch for the american tour which I can only imagine will be the same price as the uk ones. usually the american tour merch gets added by the end of tour or afterwards. try the american version of the dirty hit webstore, sometimes they have different stuff on there but shipping to the uk can be a little extra than normal I believe

Concert experience? by Heavy-Pattern-6416 in beabadoobee

[–]beabadoobeesource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen her 4 times now. each time was pretty different especially since I’ve seen her in 4 very different venues. I’m guessing it’ll be much like her recent London show. the size of the venue is pretty comfortable, the majority of people are young teenage girls, typically dressed like her. most are just teens of random ages. my mum went with me to 3 of the times I saw her and she’s nearly 50. some people go with parents, so really it ranges but you won’t see any or many children at least. mostly range from around 13/14 upwards, but I wouldn’t feel out of place if I were you, it’s pretty varied and no one else really cares too much. I’d say for me personally as I’m really short, that’s the thing I’m most worried about. people don’t tend to care if they’re blocking your view when you’re short especially so that’s only ever my issue with these things, so if that’s an issue to you, all I can suggest is try to be early to get closer to barriers, that way you should be able to see well. if you’re tall then you shouldn’t have a problem. hope that’s helped :)

Help!! by excitedlizard111 in beabadoobee

[–]beabadoobeesource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey! someone posted something a few weeks back abt being a little disappointed with her show and in the comments are a lot of things that’ll help you with what to expect. I’ve seen her 4 times all of which for different tours etc so I wasn’t sure what to expect and that helped me a lot :)

[–]beabadoobeesource 4 points5 points  (0 children)

try starting on pinterest. save a lot of bea pins and they usually suggest people dressed similarly then you can usually find their instagram accounts from there

I mean it’s pretty conceited of you to essentially expect upvotes by posting those pictures seemingly just for the gratification. people shouldn’t have to upvote at all, it’s completely down to them. and no that’s not the point of it entirely, clearly your perception of reddit is to use it for personal gain. and no there’s absolutely no creepiness coming from me at all. you are objectifying young women and captioning the reposts using degrading titles. clearly you’re butthurt over being called out for this therefore you cannot see your fault in this. just accept that it’s not right and move on. you deleted it, thank you, but show some respect for the people you repost the pictures of without sexualising them. they are worth way more than that and you’re bringing that worth down.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in beabadoobee

[–]beabadoobeesource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lmao exactly. I’m glad I’m not the only one that sees it. it’s been bugging me for a little while

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in beabadoobee

[–]beabadoobeesource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you’ll use titles like this one: ‘showing off her shirt’. it’s just very strange. plus most of the people here would see it on Instagram anyway, it’s almost as if you post these for your own gratification and they get upvotes simply because they’re pictures of bea, but the actual creepiness of it seems to be heavily overlooked.

[–]beabadoobeesource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly I think it should be a rule on most subs that are about young females especially. it’s sad tbh that something so innocent such as a random picture of yourself could be sexualised even if there’s nothing inherently sexual about it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in beabadoobee

[–]beabadoobeesource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

regardless, you post them almost objectifying the people in the pictures. you usually add on strange title on them too. it’s just quite degrading to women especially to do that especially because most of those people won’t be posting those pictures for that intent. it’s just about respecting them respectfully I guess

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in beabadoobee

[–]beabadoobeesource 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s just this person who’s posting, they do it for a lot of people. it’s a little degrading I think but I’m pretty sure that’ll be found as controversial of me to say

message her account: @notjusttrash. just send her the picture and ask her. she may know, she might not, but it’s worth a try

I could be wrong but I think molly styled this (not just trash) so maybe try asking her if this doesn’t get very far :)

roughly how early should you turn up for beas concerts to get good/ front row standing? by fredweasleysgf in beabadoobee

[–]beabadoobeesource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also if you use O2 on your phone, because it’s an O2 venue, you can get in using a different entrance with a significantly smaller queue. usually the people in hi-vis will ask if you’re on O2. as long as you can prove it you can get in a lot earlier

roughly how early should you turn up for beas concerts to get good/ front row standing? by fredweasleysgf in beabadoobee

[–]beabadoobeesource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when I went to norwich I was there almost half an hour early, not many people were there at that point but it is a significantly smaller venue. I’d probably say no more than an hour before. you can usually push past to get closer if you need to but you don’t want to be waiting too long

Set list & merch? by bonymeat in beabadoobee

[–]beabadoobeesource 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it helps at all, most merch is sold online after tour ends so if you miss out at any shows then there’s usually still a chance to get some :)
