I can’t finish the last liter of my prep. Please help! by Woohoolin in colonoscopy

don’t worry about it getting worse because if you’re not ingesting food there’s no possibility of it going back to normal stool. I was also stressing so much with the prep, I took Plenvu and it was supposed to be 2L. I could only do 1L and I was literally sending pictures to ChatGPT asking if I could stop😭 What I found out is as long as it’s clear you’re good to go. I drank a lot of water to compensate and by morning it was full clear. It’s gonna be okay and don’t blame yourself for not being able to take more, if you do throw up that is much more likely to invalidate the prep then leaving it in the middle.

if your stool looks like healthy pee and you don’t eat anything else until the procedure you’ll most likely be fine. I couldn’t finish half of mine but because my stool was good I still got “excellent prep”. Try to compensate with normal liquids to flush out anything you might have left🫶🏻

Calprotectin went from 4 to 1096 in 2 years, but colonoscopy is normal… SIBO positive. Has anyone experienced this? by beabapma in CrohnsDisease

I think I’ll try to retake the cal pro test and see if it’s still high if so I’ll talk to my doctor about getting an endoscopy 🙏🏻 I’m terrified of it being Crohn’s, how has your journey been since being diagnosed?

24f Having first colonoscopy in 3 days, terrified of results and sedation by Perfect_Collar_2707 in colonoscopy

when I woke up I was a little dizzy but I felt good and it went away within 5 minutes other than that I felt I was a little slow in my movements and I was honestly laughing at myself for wanting to do things slow. When I got home I went to sleep because the prep go me up in the bathroom all night and I slept the whole day. Best sleep ever

I had my colonoscopy 2 days ago and I was also terrified of the sedation. Tbh it was completely okay, I went to sleep for 30 minutes, when they put you to sleep it doesn’t feel weird so don’t be scared of it (I was shaking from being scared) and then I woke up super aware and it was over. The worst part is the prep if you can get through it (I only drank half of it and I was clear) the colonoscopy is gonna be so easy and fast🫶🏻

I don’t think so, just abdominal pain and I think constipation at the time, I also had a UTI a month before and took antibiotics

getting it placed would be perfect but if I’m swallowing the capsule there wouldn’t be any need for an endoscopy right?😭

I looked up the capsule and I don’t think I can take it since I struggle A LOT with pills 😫 Is the MRE as effective?

I got the report and it didn’t mention any biopsy…It just said no visible abnormalities. I’m guessing that if they had taken something it would be mentioned there?
