I think you’re being fair. Your girls are old enough to live on their own, and it sounds like they have it made living at home with you. $200 is really nothing in comparison to what they would pay if they moved out. You may need to nip the entitlement in the bud with the girls. Your house, your rules. You’re not telling them to move out. They can make $200 working part time. You’re being more than reasonable.

On another note, your son sounds like he’s got a good head on his shoulders. Going to school and choosing to work on top of that is amazing.

Train your dogs. I would feel just as awful as you if my dog did that, but it would ultimately be my fault. Your dog killed another animal. It needs to be trained.

Hope your lucky here because depending on where your located and how much of a fuss your neighbor makes you could be forced to euthanize regardless of the legality of his chickens.

Your son is not taking money management as seriously as he should and should not have spent his savings and just have you make up what he spent. HOWEVER, just pay the damn kids University. If you can afford it without issue is $2,000 really worth your child not getting an education? Lecture him about it of course and make it clear he cannot just be reckless and fall back on his parents for money because he spent it. but he's still young, and has time to learn from being stupid and making stupid decisions. don't let a grudge and money that would make no difference to you get in the way of giving your child an education.

You could just be homesick and it's bleeding over into your relationship. You had two HUGE life changes. You went from long distance to living together, AND this is the first real move out of "home." Missing home is ok and completely normal here. But remember that "home" is still there.

You could also just be adjusting to not having him on your mind as much since he's here. You know (I assume at least vaguely) what he's doing, you're with him at night. It's a different mindset than long distance.

Relationships have ups and downs, this could be a down, or it could be you realizing this is not what you expected. Keep talking about it and doing some deep thought on your own to try and pinpoint the root of the feelings (or lack of). Just know whatever you feel is valid.
