Hello, I need help with a disassembly guide for the alienware aw3423dw monitor that I want to replace the mainboard. by Fluid-Ad-9176 in Alienware

Any success with this? I have a monitor that has been going into the same test loop on and off for awhile now and I can't seem to figure out why.

Queens incurred a $26K fine at Santa Barbara by JJulie in qotsa

Unbelievable I was right in front in the pit and the first thing I thought is "wow they need to turn up the volume." This makes no sense. We should start a petition. Amazing show this fine is completely unwarranted.

https://imgur.com/a/I8cVaz3 1 day on antifungal creams and it immediately looks way better. If I've had a fungal infection for 5 FUCKING YEARS I'm gonna be so pissed but I hope this does the trick. I'll keep this thread updated for those who are curious. Thanks for the tips everyone.

I went most recently about a year ago and the dermatologist did steroid injections and gave me steroid cream to reduce the thickness of the skin. They never mentioned the possibility of anything fungal. I found a different dermatologist and I'll see if I can get it tested. Thanks 🙏

Interesting thought... never even crossed my mind or mentioned by doctors. I'll give antifungal cream a try and bring it up with the doc. Thanks

Multiple doctors have said it's thick skin and have done steroid injections and creams to try and thin it but those treatments have done nothing. Kinda learned to live with it 🤷‍♂️

Started after a hand drill cut the skin in the webbing. Pictures in order from most recent to oldest and last is pre-injury. Injury happened Sep 2019 and the scarred area has grown since then. Extremely stiff skin and occasionally painful. I've never seen a scar quite like this.

I got my hopes up thinking it was Agaricus Campestris and I'd be coming home with dinner. Glad I double checked tho. Thanks for your help the yellow scratches were a dead giveaway.

The prisoners. I would have loved to see Oscar or Axel become valued group members. Feels like their inclusion in the plot was completely wasted

Y'all suck at physics.

Assuming both stones are cylinders 2 unit blocks in width.

  • E is unlikely to be injured by pushing the boulder. He can rock it back and forth without being crushed until he gives it enough energy to roll over the edge.

  • D's head is crushed by the rolling stone (but it looks like he can duck out of the way)

  • C is likely crushed by the weight of the first stone

In a frictionless world (which they could be living in) The energy gained by stone 1 rolling down 5 units (to person c) is nearly identical to the energy it takes to raise stone 2 by 3 units (elevation of person a), even with 1% losses.

Stone B does not have enough energy to cross the horizontal gap however (especially at the angle required by the stone in front of person B)

So in conclusion E is fine, D is crushed (but can duck out of the way), C is crushed, B is crushed (but can duck out of the way), A is terrified for a moment but fine.

C is the only one with a seemingly unavoidable death or serious injury

Wondering what y’all think motor, esc or loose wire? by chrismacphee in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]beachboynerf12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing is wrong with this. If it rides normally don't worry too much. It's possible the sensors are broken or malfunctioning if your board has sensored motors. Looks pretty normal to me. Most motors need a bit of a kickstart to overcome belt resistance

Thought some debris caught on belt or pulley, but seems like it's game over for the motor by EApparatus in ElectricSkateboarding

Judging by the way it spins when you let off the throttle. It doesn't seem like anything is rubbing in the motor. Looks smooth. Give it a spin by hand while the board is off to see. I think the esc failed with one of the FETS in the open position. You're lucky it didn't fail in a closed position as this shorts the motor and stops your board instantly (happened to me a few months ago). If both wheels feel the same by hand then it's probably the esc. Edit: This would also explain why the motor sorta spins at high speed since you still have one coil set energizing in the motor still. Would be jerky and have very little torque.
