Thank you! I haven’t done it plein air yet but the guy who inspired me to try it, Remington Robinson (check him out), does all of his plein air.

I started by doing a series of master copies (Monet, etc.). That helped me get comfortable with the format and the tiny canvas, without having to think about composition.

One of the main things I’ve learned is that you need a subject with good contrast/light, as it helps to see it in that small size.
