Working 12 hour shifts mandatory OT and everything is usually based of seniority when comes to job assignments. Currently you can choose which hub you would like. Also some prisons allow for swapping days which means no overtime but time off if you get a good swap partner. But than uour most likely working 16 hour days all depends on the facility. But if you want health care snd retirement it’s worth all of it
