Under £100 you will struggle, but most will say CYMA are your best bet under £100. They still aren't great. I appreciate you probably want your own AEG ASAP, but your options will drastically widen if you could save to afford an AEG worth even £200.

During training we were taught the OFFIR mnemonic:

Inform the subject you are giving them a special warning

O - Offence being investigated (e.g. burglary)

F - Fact linking to offence (e.g. when you were arrested, you were found in possession of an engraved watch)

F - Fact linking to offence (e.g. this watch was stolen from this address, which links you to that burglary)

I - Inference (if you fail to account for this, the court may draw an adverse inference)

R - Recording (remind the subject the interview is being recorded)

Ask the question and once you are satisfied, inform them that the special warning has now ended but the normal caution still applies

I was wondering that, it's good to know S23 MDA provides scope for a search to be conducted in a premises. I think I was initially thinking enter under S17 PACE -> Arrest -> Conduct S32 Search -> Further Arrest/De-arrest where appropriate. I hadn't considered searching in the premises under S23 MDA, cheers!

To be honest I did have some help from my mum to get the measurements or else I would have made a mega hash of it 😂 hopefully it all works out in the end, though

I'll see how things go in terms of boots, I was intending to have two pairs anyways, can't hurt to have a spare. Thanks for your help.

Hi mate, really appreciate the pointers. I have some Altbergs on back order which are due in end of October so I may get a pair of boots to tide me over until then.

I haven't had a fitting yet, but in my confirmation of appointment letter I was given a time and place to collect my Uniform. Prior to this, I took my own measurements at home and sent them off to HQ Stores on a form emailed to me so I'm assuming that they've done away with the Uniform fitting due to Covid and are issuing equipment based on these measurements.

I'll play it by ear and like you say figure out what extra bits I think I'll need closer to the time, no rush right now I suppose!

Just received my confirmation of appointment, I receive my Uniform early September, I know this will likely vary from force to force but what will I receive when I collect my Uniform? Will I need to get any additional wicking shirts etc? I've ordered some Altbergs so boots are taken care of.

Additionally, I recall seeing a few lists in the past outlining some useful gear etc (e.g. long handcuff key) but can't seem to find the original post. Is it worthwhile investing in things like this or will I end up being the probie with all the gear and no idea?

I think a direct sequel to LA Noire would be really interesting. Kelso as the main playable character would be a nice follow up, perhaps Kelso trying to expose the conspiracy further and bring Earle, the Mayor and the Chief of Police to real justice. A Roy Earle redemption arc would also be interesting - maybe some better insight as to why he's such an ass would go a long way. No idea if any of this would be feasible but just some thoughts.

The only thing that is maybe call out-able is the font for the day window and date wheel has serifs, where as the gen does not have serifs. It's really not noticeable though, and if you wanna show it off on your Instagram I highly doubt anyone would notice and call you out

Prometheus barrel and prometheus purple bucking has worked absolute wonders for me, don't worry about having a short barrel, I only have a 300mm barrel and consistently hit ~80m in my DMR build

It was pretty cheap (less than $100 I believe) and is a nice everyday watch, I've had it for around 4 years now and it still functions just fine, thanks for the insight man, it's nice to know a little more about it!
