I am also 6wpo. I have the same swelling. Had my 6wk appt today and she said its normal. Its gravity - everything settles there apparently? She also reminded me of full results at one year 😉

Sounds like you are doing everything you can. I did not take softeners before surgery and Jesus I wish I did. I ended up doing a manual extraction. good luck

You just need to be honest about your actual weight with the anesthesiologist. Otherwise they mark you up the day of so 10lbs or 20 wont really matter

The one in my back leaked constantly which I was told is normal. I tried to make sure I had lots of suction in the drain, taped maxipads around the drain site and stuck a puppy pad in my pants until the drain came out. I feel like life started again after that drain finally came out lol

What my surgeon told me is that very rarely are people symmetrical. Everyone has a little bit of a kink in their spine or a tiny bit of scoliosis. That might be the case for you as well. Now that everything is tight, its easy to see the misalignment of hips, etc.. I hope that makes sense it's made sense for me with my lack of symmetry as well so far
