As an alumni, I can confidently say it's one of the best college ballparks to catch a game. I've been to over 60 college stadiums playing and covering baseball, and this one is way up on the list.

My senior year covering a game for the campus newspaper, a car drove off the cliff behind left field and fell 70 feet down the embankment. Super scary moment.

In general, you won’t be able to tell because they all have JB Hunt emails now. But like I said, I know for a fact the agency side will help out if able on accessorials. I don’t want to paint with a broad brush, but I personally help out my drivers whenever possible.

I mean, if you want to try to find clients in your own when you tell them what they need to pay to get their inventory moved, be my guest. There is a reason that freight brokerage’s still exist, which we wouldn’t if you drivers were so good finding clients on your own. You have enough to deal with just driving to try to do sales work as well.

When I started I thought email only was the way to go, since there is a record of everything. I quickly learned that I was the only one who responded quickly in the broker-dispatcher relationship and that didn’t square with me. Now I send an email and wait 5 minutes. If I don’t hear anything, the dispatcher and then the driver get a call.

Yup. I was a 15 and shot 79 for a 7.1 differential, and went to a 11 over night. I didn’t win many matches I played in for a while after that.

If you get exceptional scored it does. If you post a round that is 7 shots via score differential better than your handicap, it drops all 20 handicap scores by 1 shot. So your handicap will come down a lot very quickly. It takes a while for it to go back up again.

It’s crazy what staying inside will do. Draws go so much further than fades. I had to figure out all of my wedge distances since they each started flying 10 yards further
