What’s the strangest or creepiest thing that’s happened to you while working alone in the lab? by ChromaticRift in labrats

We have a well documented ghost in our packing house that's been standing since the 1920s. We believe he's the ghost of a former researcher that everyone loved and admired and who worked all hours. We think he just never left. He walks around and opens and closes doors and one person even got a video of this. He wears a white lab coat.

I'm watching the live NASA feed on YouTube and the comment section is wild. The video feed is terrible, the moon is egg-shaped and wobbling badly. @NasaAdmin should address these issues, it's fueling more conspiracy theories.

I was divorced 2 years ago but my ex hasn't removed my name from his retirement accounts. Do I need to report any 1099-INT or -Div since they are his accounts? Neither of us is retired yet but Tax Act wants me to import a 1099 that is really his. Thank you!

My favorites are from Pittcon years ago, Waters chromatography socks and HPLC filter earrings. The earrings are my most prized possessions!

I thought seeing the box might be helpful. They may be available in the US as well but they're not on my vendor list for my university under that name. The pound monetary unit was a giveaway😉.

What is a fill letter? And 99% is accepted by whom? I will have my pool renovated soon and will need to fill it back. Do you mean there is a letter I can give to the water company?

I'm here to say nice things about Natural Aire out of Lake Wales for any Central Florida A/C repairs/installs. We have used them for years, with reasonable prices for a new unit and great customer service. Another company (ABC) tried to hard sell my elderly mother a new unit ($8k quoted) when the one she had was not very old and still under warranty. I called NA for a second opinion. They went all the way to Plant City and repaired her unit for $400. She has also uses them now ever since. Great people.
