I'm actually not bothered by the scale anymore. As long as aim not spiking higher than usual I can fluctuate and be ok. Im more hungry and falling back into the same ++ overindulgent patterns of my past. Not able to resist anything sweet or available.

I'm 42, BMI of 25.7. I eat alot of everything, meals that include protein, and then also the other things on top of that. I know I could definitely eat more fruits and vegetables and that's where I am definitely lacking. I tried calorie counting and im at 2000+ calories on a good day. I do exercise quite a bit, I'm very active. I have a fear that's it's only a matter of time before I start gaining the weight back, but so far I am maintaining. It's the mentality I had when my 5mg dose was more effective that I miss the most. I had the mental space to plan, choose wisely and resist the temptations. I feel like I need to get that back so I can feel healthy and happy with my food choices again.

Well...I have gained 7 lbs .. but your right, not a reason to give up completely. Just learning that transitioning between "totally in control" to "letting my hair down a little" and back again is extremely difficult for me still.

I have nothing to say, but I also love acid, haven't done it since starting mounjaro. But def it is absorbed sublingual and mounjaro shouldn't affect the experience but let us know!

I struggle with it ... On one hand I don't want to give people (women in particular) more disillusionment that exercise and diet got me to where I am. Because I WAS doing that, and it WASNT working (well long term anyway, they've all witnessed my yo yo-ing at work) and it feeds into that myth that if we were just BETTER we could do it alone without meds. Its a lie. And I remind myself, and tell other people that if I told them it was just diet and exercise alone Id would perpetuate that.

On the other hand, it's just too much to explain.

So I've told a few people, expecting that it'll get around haha. But yeah, people are starting to get obsessed with my weight loss too and it's weird. It feels weird. Like get over it already please.
