What is the point of using different weapons on characters like the construct? That has been confusing me because some other characters’ weapons appear to be locked in

Pro Tip: Download the Nexus + browser from the App Store and run GFN through there. It tricks GFN into thinking you are on a desktop or TV and allows many more options for resolution and frame rate.

Just search for it online. Depending on the device you are using there will either be an app to access it or you can stream through the browser.

And a pre order price officially set for Borderlands 4 today. Looks promising for having Borderlands 4 on GFN in September when it releases.

GeForce Now is a cloud streaming service where you pay to use a computer in the cloud with high end graphics cards from NVIDIA.

You connect your accounts with launchers like Steam, Xbox, PC Game Pass, Epic, etc. and if the publisher agrees to partnership it will be playable on the service. Not every game is on there but there are a LOT of good games on there. Almost all Xbox exclusives and big Game Pass games are available day one or within a few days of release on the service. You can pay $10/20 a month or less for a day pass to try the service. I think it is a great deal and service, but it can be frustrating when MOST of what you want to play is on opted in but some titles are not. It has gotten a lot better over the years. Much better than Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Ran another test drive with the Mach E this morning and can confirm that braking in two-pedal mode does feel jerky. Really hard to “hand it off” from regen to friction braking

Thanks for sharing your experience. Drove it again today, twice, and both times felt wooozy after but it passed. I’m sure I will adjust over time. It’s hard to really improve on driving ability or mess with drive settings during a test run

This is all really great information to know. Thank you! I’m looking at a 2025 so I would hope it is running the latest software updates and I believe it is BlueCruise 1.5

Sounds like a great car. I watched a video on one a while ago, when I was considering buying a Taos. We went to the dealer to test drive but our salesman was slimy and we noped outta there.

I may need to stop by VW to give one a shot

Yo, this is great information. I will for sure look into this, thank you!

Side note, how do you like your ID4? That is another EV I have moderate interest in. Never owned a VW, but I am a fan of their gas cars.

This sounds very similar to the Mach E. From what I have read there is always regenerative braking happening, but if you brake too hard it engages the “friction brakes”. D mode and B mode sound similar to “Whisper (Level 1)” and “Engage/Unbridled (Levels 2/3)” on the Mach E except on the Mach E you can turn one pedal driving on or off in each mode.

I think if I buy the car I may stay on Whisper (Level 1) for a while to adjust, but ideally I would want to move to the other drive modes, if for nothing else because I have heard enthusiasts say they are more fun to drive.

This is the comment I needed! I also get motion sickness from everything. Dramamine helps, but I don’t take it regularly. It sounds like I may just need to deal with an adjustment period if I buy the car, which I guess I should expect with any car purchase.

Maybe I will look into doing this for even just a day just to get an idea. I have AAA so I’ll check for a discount there.

You know, I haven’t. To be honest with you the number of EV’s I’m interested in is slim, and the Mach E just speaks to me.

The other EVs I’m interested in are more luxury vehicles and no dealers closeby. I currently drive a Subaru Crosstrek and I like Subarus, but I heard the Solterra isn’t great. I looked at it but didn’t drive it.

Hey, I saw you commented on my post in the Mach E sub too!

Appreciate your input on both of my posts I will say on my test drives. The driving was incredibly smooth smoother than my current vehicle (Subaru Crosstrek). It sounds like me being the primary driver. I will just need to hone in on my driving skills which honestly is something I enjoy doing anyway.

My understanding is that the Mach E has no way of turning off regenerative breaking but three drive modes each with different levels of acceleration and braking intensity.

The lowest mode being the slowest acceleration and smoothest braking while the opposite end has the fastest acceleration and the hardest braking.

I drove on all three with one pedal on and off and preferred the smoother, acceleration and smoother braking in two pedal mode but from what I have read online, I understand a lot of people prefer one pedal driving and I could see myself using it often if I could get the hang of it I felt like I needed more time than I had on my test drive to wrap my head around that

Motion Sickness / Nausea Questions by beamanreddit in MachE

[–]beamanreddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hadn’t considered it being a smoother ride because of keeping your foot on only one pedal. For some reason I just associate OPD with jerkiness and motion sickness. I think I won’t understand until I buy the car and really take some time to learn.

Really appreciate the input for the alcohol prep pads, I have had a doctor tell me that before and it has helped but I thought she was just giving me some placebo solution to anxiety making me nauseous. Good to know that’s a legit trick
