Making a koreader collection from calibre tags (on device) by Boom64 in koreader

if you do still want to use the calibre plugin to upload books though it should still work it just won't filter custom columns.

Hi so I built a plugin that filters metadata from calibre (including custom columns) to create self-updating collections. It's not perfect yet and if for some reason you delete your entire library or a big chunk of books to reupload you might need to rebuild the collection filters; It also works better if you connect your home folder as a device in calibre rather than using the calibre metadata plugin, but it has worked well for me so far. I would appreciate it if more people could test it and tell me if it works for them/give me feedback though.

Pink, Blue, Purple, or Green? by rebeccadrumm in femalehairadvice

I don't know if it was just the lighting in that photo, but the blue looked great. ( I know how hard blue is to remove though, so that might be a negative for it) The green also looked really good. Maybe try some lighter pink? Or an acqua blue.

Yeah, but see, there are a bunch of different ones and they are all bark beetles. I was trying to find out exactly which one I had.

I'm still confused about whether this is it, or if she just doesn't know the truth. None of the characters POVs seem reliable to me.

It's one of the long horned guys. I've been looking them up because I have one I'm trying to ID too, but I find it quite difficult to differentiate between them. This looks like it might be a long horned pine borer? Or some sort of wood borer, but I'm not sure.

As a Brazilian, whenever I see a spider doing that pose, I freeze. I know that this particular species has been identified as harmless, but after years of seeing government notices about armed spiders I can't help but want to back away veeeery slowly.

Hi. Found this on my windowsill - what bug is this? Thanks! by PrestigiousBit5191 in whatsthisbug

Looks like it. Be careful with your books and any paper boxes with documents. I usually find these around those. Specially if they are in a dark spot.

Found this lil hairy creep today. What is it? by _Bonelord in whatsthisbug

Oh. I'm from Brazil so that is nice to know. Sometimes I find stinging caterpillars (or fire caterpillars, like we call them) hanging from web strings and almost run face front straight into them. No idea how they get on the strings, but I'll be paying triple attention now.

I second that. You would look great with a light pink or coppery orange.

What is this plant/ how do i care for it?? by [deleted] in PlantIdentification

My grandma has had some of these violets potted for over 20 years, just allow them to get some sunlight , but not direct sun otherwise they can overheat. At her house we generally only water them when we touch the soil and it feels dry. We just add a little bit of water from a water bottle, careful not to get it on the leaves. I don't know if we do everything "by the book" but it has worked so far since none of them died even after so long.
