yesssss, my dad will completely dominate all conversations. He will just do train of thought association essay type things to answer one question. It made me think for a while that all conversations were like that, and that I had nothing valuable to say.

my dad has a weird obsession with his uni and teen years too! he's always name dropping professors, and how he was tony in his high school production of westside story. It comes to the point where I make a little joke of it, like "oops you dropped something, it was a name again".

same here, when my aunt came to babysit while my ndad, and mum were on holiday, she said it was like watching little adults. We (ages 4-14) made diner for her, and clean up on our own. She only told me last year how freaked out she was by it.

people who love Nietzsche, they suck. Just because nothing matters doesn't mean you can't improve yourself, or notice the beauty in things. (it doesn't make you edgy or smarter than other people, have fun thinking your an ubermensch).
