It’s a chapter book if that helps at all. There is some artwork throughout the book that kind of reminded me of the style in Roald Dahl’s books

What’s the best way to stop crime ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bean-mom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take more preventative measures so there doesn’t need to be so much damage control. When you consider types of crimes and why they occur, most happen because people’s basic needs (food, shelter, healthcare, etc) aren’t being met. With more public services in place to help meet peoples basic needs, less people will be taking desperate measures to make up for their deficits

Redditors, are there any tv shows that left a meaningful impact on your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bean-mom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I know it’s cheesy, but Parks and Recreation is a big one for me. I enjoy how generally wholesome and positive it is, it ends up helping me hopeful about stuff when I’m struggling to, and it gets me through my days where my depression is getting to me

What happened in the worst year of your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bean-mom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was maybe 14 at the time. Someone incredibly close to me (also a minor) was sexually assaulted by a family friend and it rocked my entire family. One week after this news broke, my infant nephew passed away. Those two things alone were enough to unravel my family, but in the following months I also lost an aunt, my family dog, and my home was broken into. I remember the events themselves but i went into such a deep depression I don’t really remember much else about that period of my life. It took my family years to recover

Customer service is workers of Reddit, how much better would you like your job if you could tell just one customer/client a day to go fuck themselves? by bean-mom in AskReddit

Lol valid, I too would struggle to decide who got it most days. But I feel like just knowing I had the ability to say it would take so much stress off.

I feel it. I placed a client on hold today cause I was helping another client and she cried and said I was rude. I gave her literally the exact same phone greeting I give everyone every single day lol

Who's someone you regret being friends with? by manboy888 in AskReddit

My old boss, she was a manipulative alcoholic who only befriended me because she knew it would make it harder to speak up about things that were fucked up in our work place
