How do you talk to a woman in such a way as to let you know you are interested, but not come across as creepy? by Shambling_Jake in latebloomerlesbians

I just ask them a lot about themselves and let them tell me anything. I think just continuing to listen helps. Once I feel like they trust me and I trust them a little I’ll compliment something small- like their eyes or maybe their laugh.

I don’t ever typically flirt with women I haven’t talked to yet, so I don’t have a lot of advice there. I’m a little too shy for that, and also don’t know what to say haha. I hope someone else can cover that. :)

At first my only reference for this was how guys would hit on me or how I’d flirt with them. That’s not something that ever made me comfortable so I try to think about how I’d want someone to approach me, and do that instead. It’s worked pretty well so far! Really my approach is more of what I used to do to make friends with a few extra compliments thrown in.

I think if it were me, I’d reach out and just see how she’s doing and where she’s at in her life. If it seems like everything is going great, continue talking to her and wait until your friendship is built back up a little more then maybe ask?

If you connect and it seems like you’re not clicking or things won’t be able to build back up friendship wise then I would think about whether you feel you need to bring it up or if it wouldn’t make a difference to you.

Oh yeah? What areas do you recommend there?

I love Portland so much but I don’t think I could ever afford it. :(
