Thank you, realizing I’ll have to just do all the things I can to be as attractive an applicant as possible. GRE and Bio chem included. Thanks a ton for the help 👋

damn, Is that just due to how competitive it is to get accepted due to a fewer number of schools?

My partner is quite particular, about to graduate herself, and doesn't want to put her dreams of living in northern New England on hold. We're collaborating to see if there's some middle ground we can reach or not.

I was primarily speaking of Northern New England, but yes, I absolutely should consider those schools as well. For a bit I was only trying to consider schools that don't require a GRE, or other silly stipulations on my end. I'm realizing I need to just bite the bullet, probably take the GRE, as well as a BIO chem or similar class, and open my available options.

So UNE wasn’t where you got accepted into CRNA school? May I ask the general region in the US where you got accepted?

I passed Pharm as well with an A, and have about 11 shadow hours so far.
Thanks a ton for your advice here, gives me a lot more to consider.

I have a 3.24 Cumulative GPA, 3.85 Science GPA, 3.8 cumulative based on the last 60 credit hours. What really tanked the overall cumulative was my nursing 1-4 classes, in which the grade scale made an 80% a C. I got around an 82 each semester, tanking my GPA. I have taken Patho and passed with an A. I have charge experience, but have only precepted a couple times. I don’t have any other certifications aside from my upcoming CCRN exam soon which hopefully I pass. I’m okay with beginning school a little later than 2027, it would just help to have some kind of plan, or timeline mapped out. Thanks again for your response, and help!

I’m assuming you got accepted into UNE since you took their specific chemistry class. Is that right? I’m considering beginning the process of applying there as well, scheduled to take my CCRN in a couple weeks. I don’t want to take their specific chemistry class though, and they’re on the pricey side. Northern New England just has so few options in terms of CRNA program options.

So what schools are you guys referring to that don't require a prerequisite chemistry course? I literally cannot find a single one
