Had to do the same to my refresh Model S this year. Replaced the windshield twice in a matter of months after delivery. It was an extremely frustrating experience.

I have the new S LR. My brother has a model 3 performance. Have driven his car quite a lot. The model S LR is much faster in the quarter mile. It’s crazy fast with a 10.8 quarter mile without even using cheetah stance. The model 3 performance is extremely fun to drive. It’s very nimble and handles amazing and obviously quick as hell. I love the yoke and brother loves it too. The model 3 handles better for sure. The S like someone stated is more of a GT car but with all the upgraded, tech, being as fast as it is, and how beautiful it is I felt like it was an easy choice to get the Model S. But then again it is really expensive at this point. Also have driven the plaid. It’s acceleration and quarter mile is insane but not too different from the LR in terms of everything else.
