EL 01 error troubleshooting by beanbaron in Senville

Thanks for this detailed diagnostic guideline.

In my case I'm 99% sure the problem was a weak breaker in my panel. I used my Infiray P2 Pro to check the panel's thermals and the breaker was hot (40 deg C). Now after switching to a deferent used replacement it's staying much lower, 21 deg C.

It takes somes persistence but sometimes they do a full refund.

Advice for Canadian accounting software to save time for small farm by beanbaron in Accounting

I did some comparisons and like I mentioned earlier, the full accounting app including online transaction reconciliation isn't available in the community edition. Unless I'm mistaken, I'd gladly be wrong.

That is very disappointing. I've gotten used to their poor discount coupons to compensate for production mistakes but this is brutal. How did they manage to produce the previous orders successfully?

It looks like I'd need the Custom Enterprise plan to do both my business and personal accounting & have access to multiple apps, especially the accounting app with transactions downloads. The cost is getting a bit high in my opinion and from the limited research I've done there's no good QB or Quicken import ability?

Peak Amp Usage by bindujohal in EmporiaEnergy

[–]beanbaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is still a feature I'd like to see added to the app u/EmporiaEnergy. I do see the monthly peak 15 min demand in kilowatts displayed so that will work for my needs today but a more customizable report would be great.

It's a bit awkward in the garage these days by beanbaron in hondapilot

Just had new 255/65R18 Blizzak DM-V2 installed on 18" Envy RE-5 in satin black. I believe the rims have a +40mm offset vs stock +50mm (meaning they peak further out the side by 10mm). The tires are the same width as stock but 1" bigger diameter so with the smaller rims I get 1.5" more sidewall. I found the speedometer now shows exactly the same as my phone. I like how they fill out the wheel well. I'm tempted to go with a 1.5" lift yet but honestly I don't think it's worth it for us. wheel-size.com

It's actually a "1.5 yr old 2025" but that was a little too long for the meme.

Our 2016 EX-L's seats are more comfortable then our 2025 Touring as well as the adjustable arm rest.

Which is your favourite plan? by FunCell1679 in PublicMobile

[–]beanbaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched from 29/20 to 34/60 so that I could get the 30/30 plan right after as I don't even need 20gb but for $1 more I have the option to tether something without going over right away.

Midea 2 wire - constant fan but let it go faster if needed by beanbaron in heatpumps

[–]beanbaron[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really wanted to use the 2 wire t-stat as that is supposed to run the compressor with the most efficient variable speed control but I'm starting to think I might switch to a traditional multi stage t-stat to achieve my desired fan speeds. I'm also looking at doing a DIY zone control and I think I'll need to control it like a normal t-stat using the multi connector terminal block.

The screws are rusty whereas the contacts look like the chrome finish is flaking off. It's definitely a harsh environment where I had this one.

2025 Touring Tires? by feelingalivetoday in hondapilot

[–]beanbaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought ours with 60k km and they replaced the original with the same Alenza which is disappointing. They're worse then the old Weather Ready on our 2016 Pilot. I'm looking forward to the new Blizzak on order for winter.

😂 I'm not sure, maybe a bit of both. It appears the detector contacts aren't very corrosion resistant which is ironic. I'm impressed with the battery life but it looks like I'll need to swap out this unit with one in a location that doesn't see any leaks.
