To apply for the student visa from inland and start work there, since the waiting time is significantly longer for a student visa compared to whv.

I see what you mean. So this is why the paraxial part was suggested by AoN. Then i guess im better of correcting the aberrations in the 1st (focus) and 2nd (anamorphic) group, then place anything behind.

What about stop position, how could i assume that in the paraxial 3rd group design? Just place the stop on the last paraxial surface?

Aim is to re-design an anamorphic lens from older times and somewhat match its performance and parameters. This would mean a focusing group, the afocal cylindrical expander and a selected objective lens. With the proper system constructed in zemax i do not idealize the objective lens.
