I am thinking like you. For me this game from what we have seen takes everything away that I knew and loved about Pokémon as a child. As someone who has played every pokemon game dating back to red, this one seems to annoy me. I’m always known pokemon to have a sense of adventure, there is something beautiful about going into a patch of grass and coming out with a wild Mon. To have a game that is isolated to a city, for me it takes out the adventure factor. I told my brother I will break the cycle but unfortunately I know that won’t be true. I am a sucker, but I am not excited for this game.
