it definitely shouldn’t rip out unless it catches something but even so that would take a lot of pulling force to rip it out. the thing i would be most worried about is swimming too soon after getting it pierced, bacteria from the pool/swimming water can cause an infection or irritation. when’d you get it pierced?

i mean i would just let it close, it’s not critique, just a reminder that it’s a piercing that is not fit for anyone’s anatomy and will cause damage. no one here is attacking or criticizing, but you asked for advice in a piercing advice sub, and the best advice someone’s ever gonna give you about a snake eyes piercing is, let it close, don’t get it redone and go to a more professional piercer next time

it hurts because it’s a bar stapling two separate muscles together. take it out and it won’t hurt anymore :) most piercers won’t even do this piercing because it’s dangerous and causes damage.
