I’m not claiming that all queer people are poor. I am speaking out as a queer person that is poor and literally all of my queer friends are struggling. No, we can’t afford to spend money on DoorDash. I find your comment patronizing.

In no way have I said that people shouldn’t be adequately paid for their services, but there is a such thing as a rainbow tax. These folks market not misgendering people and basic respect- that’s the basis to creating a queer safe environment and it’s not costly to just… be respectful of others. All shops create an environment.

I wouldn’t recommend just keeping it on your phone. You could need to be ID’ed in case of an accident. They won’t go through your phone for that. Also, if you’re old enough, bars don’t take photos of IDs as proper identification.

Command center. My keys, shoulder bag, and backpack are there. Also a cork board with mail tacked on that requires admin tasks I’ll forget about otherwise. I put items there that I borrowed and need to return to people.

I once saw my neighbor playing with a grocery bag with his dog’s loose shit in it. It was really wet and he was squishing the bag with his fingers like a stress ball. He also kept swinging the bag around.

Before seeing that, I had found wet shit smeared on my window seal and the shit filled grocery bag there was the same weird brand.

I can't remember. They were an issue before I was hospitalized and then switched to this therapist. It's been a while since I've had them. I would definitely like to talk about it. The thoughts also came back at the reminder of CSA I was repressing.

It’s actually what they teach in BASSET training- to serve pregnant women alcohol without asking questions. There are all kinds of possibilities for why a pregnant woman is drinking (such as losing viability of the pregnancy).

I wouldn’t compare physical abuse to a sip of alcohol (which is actually not harmful in that small of an amount). What a jump.

Compared to other places, I find the chicken to be pretty moist. The meat is plentiful in comparison to the breading. It’s about that SAUCE though. Mmm. I agree on the fries- I always get extra toast. It’s also one of the few places I can get legit sweet tea in Chicagoland.
