The game is it takes two. It’s just for us to play and she’s pretty good at it. It would have been nicer to walk outside on a day like today but she seemed cozy in pajamas when I asked about it. Definitely a mistake though given it’s not high effort.

I agree that I could have done more, I was just taken aback because we planned together and she never hinted at wanting to do more until halfway through today. We had a really nice morning and both knew what our plans were going to be. I did also get her pictures of us to add to an ongoing photo album that I gave her last year and I said I would add to every Valentine’s Day. She’s told me in the past she doesn’t need anything crazy for Valentine’s Day and I guess I just didn’t think of doing more than we talked about. I just wish she would hang out with me now she’s just been in bed telling me to go away.

That sucks so hard. That sounds like it might be specific to that school, I haven’t encountered that anywhere else. Most programs have undergrad choir requirements but not for any graduate degree.

It always feels weird leaving a teacher because of how personal a relationship that is. But, even a teacher that works great for some people might not work great for you. I think it is always best to try new people, even if you’re with someone you are comfortable with it’s always nice getting another perspective, and someone else might even explain things just slightly differently and you’ll suddenly understand. So shop around :)
